Skyhawks Winter Basketball Clinics: For Grades 1-8. This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. We focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages. January 19-March 6 (no clinic February 16 and 18). Current COVID-19 guidelines (CIAC and State of CT) will be followed. Face masks must be worn by all coaches, spectators and players at all times minus water breaks. In adherence with current DECD Sector Rules and DPH guidelines only one spectator may remain in the gym and watch. Additional siblings may not attend with adult/parent.

Grades 1/2: Tuesdays 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Grades 3: Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Grades 4/5: Thursdays, 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Grades 6/7/8: Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Times/days for each group subject to change depending on enrollment. 10 spots available per time slot. If session is full, please register anyway so you may be added to our waitlist. If there’s enough interest we will add an extra coach to accommodate additional players. We are awaiting further COVID guidelines for parent attendance at clinics and possibility of offering Saturday scrimmages for program participants (separate registration/small additional fee). Municipal Gym, $105. Registration deadline: November 30th ($25 late fee after 11/30)
