Basketball for Grades 1-8

Grades 1&2
Our parent volunteer coaches will offer skill-based instruction focusing on fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding, and defense with small-sided scrimmages. Saturdays, January 6–February 10 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.East Haddam Elementary School $85
Grades 3-8

Volunteer coaches are needed for all age groups. Coaches will receive a free registration for one child in the program.
Important Notes
All players will be provided a team shirt.
At registration you will have the option to identify a day that your child cannot practice.
For players in grades 6-8: We understand that middle school basketball tryouts may not be finalized prior to our registration deadline. If your child is not selected for the middle school team and would still like to play this winter, please reach out to us immediately.
Skyhawks Basketball: Hoopster Tots- Ages 2-3: Learning basketball has never been more fun! These classes focus on dribbling, shot technique, passing and teamwork. Adjustable hoops and appropriately sized basketballs are used to always provide just the right amount of challenge. Parent participation required for ages 2-3.5 years.

Skyhawks Hot Shots for Pre-K Age 4-Kindergarten: This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using our progressional curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages.
Saturdays, January 6-February 10
Pre-K Age 4: 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Kindergarten: 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
