Food Explorers Activities and Camps - Food Explorers Spring Desserts for Grades 1-3 Food ExplorersExploring food encourages children to learn through sensory experiences, hands-on activities and working together to create delicious results. Children will have the freedom to explore thanks to our unique "food neutral" approach to teaching about food. Our unique Food Neutral approach to our classes allows children to explore and eat foods without a side of guilt. Our goal is to help children develop a positive relationship with food.Spring Desserts for Grades 1-3Spring Desserts (4 weeks): Join Food Explorers as we celebrate the season with fresh, fruity, and fun desserts! In this hands-on cooking class, kids will create spring-inspired sweets like Raspberry Cheesecake Pies, Lemon Sugar Cookie Trifles, and Peach Melba Crumbles. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.WednesdaysMay 20, 27, June 33:15-4:15 p.m.Cost: $66Food Explorers From Scratch Campfor Grades 1-3 (as of Fall 2026) A hands-on camp where young chefs create delicious, made-from-scratch dishes! Campers will mix, roll, and shape their way through savory favorites like Mozzarella Breadsticks, Wonton Cups, Fresh Pasta, and Stuffed Flatbreads, all while learning essential kitchen techniques. It’s all about fresh ingredients, creative cooking, and the joy of making it all by hand. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.
