30+ Pick-up Basketball: Sunday, January 4, 11, 18, 25. 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. $16 for session or $5 drop-in. Nathan Hale-Ray High School.

Boot Camp Fitness: Ages 16+. Boot Camp Fitness offers custom small group training sessions offered by a Certified Personal Trainer. Our sessions focus on exercises and functional training. A 60-minute workout with a 15-minute ending stretch will improve your core strength and balance. December 2 - January 29 (No Dec. 25 and Jan. 1). Classes will be held in the Old Town Hall on Town Street on Tuesday, 6:00 - 7:15 p.m. and Municipal Gym on Thursday, 5:45 - 7:00 p.m. 1x/week $64, 2x/week $96, or $10 drop-in.

Girls Volleyball Open Gym: Grades 4 - 8. Wednesday, January 7 - February 11. Grades 4 - 5: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., Grades 6 - 8: 5:00 6:00 p.m. Municipal Gym. $20 for all 6 weeks.

Gentle Yoga: This class is appropriate for all levels of fitness or yoga experience. Ages 16 and up. Improve your strength and flexibility while decreasing stress. Enjoy moving your body and breathing mindfully! Sunday: January 4 - February 8. 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Senior Center. Wednesday: January 7 - February 11. 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., Senior Center. $65 for each 6 week session or $15 for a single class.

Puzzle Palooza: 2 Hour Jigsaw Puzzle-building competition. Join us for a fun night of puzzling! Gather your team of 2-4 people and get ready to beat the clock. All teams will receive the same 500-piece competition puzzle, then race to finish it the fastest.Thursday, February 5, 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. $28/team.

Abrakadoodle: Grades 1-3. Plug Into Your Imagination! And explore new media such as video game art, rice painting, newspaper watercolor and a sculpture made with straws! Our imagination will plug us to Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France and India. We will visit a lollipop garden; we will play on a watercolor piano; we will celebrate the Festival of Lights and more. Tuesdays, January 6, 13, 27, February 3 (No Jan. 20). 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. East Haddam Elementary School. Cost: $68.

Home School Family Open Gym: Open gym offers a safe place for homeschool families to get together, burn off some energy, and have fun! Bring your family and sports/game equipment to the Municipal Gym. Parks & Rec equipment is available upon request. Suitable for all ages. Tuesday, January 6, 13, 20, 27 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Registration required. $5 per family.

Adult, Child, & Baby First Aid CPR/AED: Ages 18+. This class equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and babies.Tuesday, January 13, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Parks & Rec Activity Room, Municipal Building. Cost $107. Registration closes January 6.

Stop the Bleed Course: This is a FREE 60-90 minute class presented by STOP THE BLEED, American College of Surgeons. Learn how to stop bleeding until the First Responders arrive. Next class is January 26, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Municipal Building, Meeting Room 3. Space is limited.
