We are accepting applications for summer day camp counselors, lifeguards, and beach attendants. Must be Age 16+. The application deadline is April 1. Job descriptions and application can be found here or may be picked up in our office or in the NHRHS Guidance Office. Red Shirt Counselor (Counselor in Training) application deadline is May 15.

Registration for summer camp will open April 1st. More details and program information will be shared as it becomes available.

Boot Camp Fitness: Ages 16+. Boot Camp Fitness offers custom small group training sessions offered by a Certified Personal Trainer.  Our sessions focus on exercises and functional training. A 60-minute workout with a 15-minute ending stretch will improve your core strength and balance. February 10 - April 2. Classes will be held in the Old Town Hall on Town Street on Tuesday, 6:00 - 7:15 p.m. and Municipal Gym on Thursday, 5:45 - 7:00 p.m. 1x/week $64, 2x/week $96, or $10 drop-in.

Pickleball Rocks!/4-Day Co-ed Clinic For Grades 6-12:
This active learning session provides the foundational skills and strategies needed to enjoy the fastest growing sport in the USA. Sport etiquette, safe and sound footwork, and mechanical skills are learned and practiced using game-based drills, skill challenges, and games. May 4, 6, 11, 13, 2:30-4:00 p.m. Outdoor Pickleball Courts at the Municipal Office Complex. $40 for 4-day clinic.

Gentle Yoga: This class is appropriate for all levels of fitness or yoga experience. Ages 16 and up. Improve your strength and flexibility while decreasing stress. Enjoy moving your body and breathing mindfully! Sunday: February 22 - March 29. 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Senior Center. Puzzle Palooza: 2 Hour Jigsaw Puzzle-building competition. Join us for a fun night of puzzling! Gather your team of 2-4 people and get ready to beat the clock. All teams will receive the same 500-piece competition puzzle, then race to finish it the fastest. Thursday, April 9, 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. $28/team. 

Glow in the Dark Laser Tag:
Looking for something fun to do over April Break? Join us for a night of glow in the dark laser tag with Laser Tag on the Go. 2-hours of fun-filled games, music, and refreshments. Open to all ages. Tuesday, April 14th,

Spring Into STEM with LEGOS: Celebrate the coming of Spring using tens of thousands of LEGO® parts. Build chirping birds, design blossoming flowers, and take a ride on a paddle boat. Design and build like never before and explore your craziest ideas with an experienced Play-Well instructor.Grades 1-3. Mondays, April 20 - May 11. 3:15 - 4:45 p.m. East Haddam Elementary. Home School Family Open Gym: Open gym offers a safe place for homeschool families to get together, burn off some energy, and have fun! Bring your family and sports/game equipment to the Municipal Gym. Parks & Rec equipment is available upon request. Suitable for all ages. American Red Cross Babysitter Class:   Must be at least 11 years old to take the class. Participants will learn basic skills needed to be a safe babysitter. Attendees will receive a certificate if they complete the entire class and demonstrate skills to the instructor. Ages 11 - 18. March 3. 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Parks & Rec Activity Room, Municipal Building. Cost $60.

American Red Cross CPR For Babysitters: This is an extension of our ARC Babysitting Course. It is open to all those who have previously taken our babysitting class. This class will certify babysitters in Basic First Aid as well as Infant and Child CPR. Ages 11 - 16. March 23 & 30. 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Parks & Rec. Activity Room, Municipal Building. Cost $72.

Safe Boating Course: Successful completion of the class qualifies a person to purchase their Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation (CPWO) for $50 on the Online Sportsmen Licensing System.
